Therapist and patient in counseling session.
Because people don't experience their health in specialties.

Dear Doctors,

A connected professional network for mental health, medical care and wellbeing.

Why we started

I started thinking about this because I experienced what it feels like to navigate healthcare when your needs don't fit neatly into one speciality.

As my mental-health care intersected with hormonal concerns, elevated prolactin and gastrointestinal issues, I found myself moving between different specialists. Each consultation addressed a part of the picture, but I was often the one trying to connect those parts.

Eventually, I created a Google Drive folder for my medical reports, prescriptions, investigations and scans. I could share it with doctors, but the responsibility of remembering the timeline, explaining the connections and carrying information between appointments still rested largely with me.

I became my own care coordinator.

That experience left me wondering why the person receiving care so often has to become the link between the people providing it.

SoulFlow's Doctor Referral Programme grew from that question.

We want to build a trusted network of medical, mental-health and allied-health professionals who can connect when a person's needs extend beyond one area of expertise. Through appropriate referrals, collaboration and shared understanding, we hope to make navigating care a little less fragmented.

Because people don't experience their health in specialties. And they shouldn't always have to navigate those specialties alone.

Why connected care matters

I became my own care coordinator.

SoulFlow's professional network grew from a personal experience of navigating multiple specialists, medical reports and interconnected health concerns. It raised a question: What if the person didn't have to be the only bridge between their professionals?

Psychological wellbeing can intersect with hormonal health, chronic illness, neurodevelopment, medication effects and social circumstances. We want to make it easier for professionals to connect when a person's needs extend beyond one area of expertise.
